ROGER M BROWN

Roger Brown heads up R M Brown Attorneys from their office is the centre of
Cape Town.
Roger was admitted as an attorney in 1993.  His studies include a BComm and
LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and a MBA from the University of
Cape Town.  He has vaste experience in starting and operating new ventures,
managing and growing start ups and providing leadership in stategic thought and
direction.
He is co founder and CEO of debt counselling firm Credit Matters and heads up
Labour Protect which operates nationally and protects/enforces employees
rights.
Roger is married to Lucinda and they have two sons Oliver (9) and Jared (7).


KEVIN MUNRO

Kevin joined RM Brown Attorneys in October 2014, bringing with him a wealth of
knowledge and experience in various areas of civil and criminal litigation gained in
practice since receiving his LLB from UNISA in 2010. He specializes in Labour
Law, Contract Law and in issues related to the National Credit Act.
His work in civil litigation has seen him represent his clients in innumerable
Magistrate’s Court and High Court matters, while his Labour Law work makes
him a regular at the Labour Court, CCMA and a large variety of Bargaining
Councils. He has also appeared in matters before the National Consumer
Tribunal.
In his spare time, Kevin is an avid amateur artist and comic book collector.


JESSE-SCOTT RUITERS
Attorney
Civil Law - Magistrate’s Court Practice - Commercial Law
Jesse-Scott Ruiters began his articles as a Candidate Attorney in October 2015,
having completed an LLB at the University of the Western Cape and a LLM at the
University of Cape Town in 2015, specializing in International Trade Law. His
passion in international trade law particularly relates to the interpretation of
bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, with an emphasis on international
contractual law (such as The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the
International Sale of Goods).
During his articles, Jesse has been exposed to a large variety of areas law; he
has assisted in both civil and criminal law matters in the Magistrates Court and
High Court. This will ensure that he receives a well-rounded practical training.
When he isn’t working hard at completing his articles, however, Jesse tries to
read as much as he can.

CAMERON NEL
Attorney
Labour Law - Family Law - Criminal Law -Credit and Debt Counselling
Cameron Nel joined R M Brown Attorneys as a candidate attorney in February
2017; he completed his articles in 2019 and obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
at the University of Witwatersrand. He is our newest attorney here at RM Brown
Attorneys. During his time with us he has proven to be an accomplished labour
law attorney and has attended to a number of disputes; he enjoys attending to
disciplinary hearings and arbitrations at the CCMA and various Bargaining
Councils. He is particularly motivated by growth in experience and knowledge, he
is determined to explore and research every avenue in order to achieve the best
results for our clients. Apart from expanding our labour department, he intends
on following his other interests in family law as well as criminal law. He adds
further experience to our firm, as he completed his articles at our firm we are
assured that he is a capable, determined well rounded attorney. In his spare time
Cameron can be found exploring various food markets and restaurants. If he is
not on the road looking for a specially prepared cuisine he will be at home in the
kitchen trying to recreate or master some of his favourite dishes, it is clear he is
an avid foodie.
